Pre-Serial 1962 Ludwig 5x14 Super Sensitive Chrome over Brass Snare Drum

This drum was owned by a local jazz drummer, architect, and friend of Fork's, the late Austin Bealmear. This beautiful Pre-serial Super Sensitive needed a little work when it came in, but it has been detailed and gone over to ensure that everything works the way it should. Based on some research, it appears this one of the first Super Sensitive models they produced. All of the hardware is original. It features a chrome over brass shell, snare gates that are held to the hoop by the tension rods, a red felt muffler, and individual snare tension adjustment screws. The chrome isn't perfect, with some minor pitting here and there, but for a drum from the 60's, it's in great shape!
