VTC-C is a 10mil CLEAR version of the American Vintage Medium all-purpose drumhead. The American Vintage Series features a slightly larger hoop diameter to allow for a more relaxed fit on hard-to-fit drums. This series was initially designed for older American-made drum shells that needed heads that were slightly larger due to thicker coverings, scarf joints, or out-of-round age issues. The VTC-C works well as a batter head or a resonant bottom head when a contemporary head model fits too tight.
