Percussion Hall Frequently Asked Questions:
1. Where is the Percussion Hall?
The Percussion Hall is just a mile around the corner from Fork’s Drum Closet. We have a large sign out front that is hard to miss along with a massive parking lot with plenty of space for parking. The address is **2003 Nolensville Pike, Nashville, TN 37211**
2. What is the Percussion Hall?
The Percussion Hall is an extension of Fork’s Drum Closet that focuses on Band and Orchestral instruments and gear. We have all of your marching and concert percussion needs! We have everything from finger cymbals to five octave marimbas. We stock lots of used DCI and WGI gear along with plenty of brand new items.
3. Is the Percussion Hall open to the public?
100% - The Percussion Hall is definitely open to the public! Weekdays 9:30am - 6pm. Don’t hesitate to drop by and check us out!
4. Can I come to the Percussion Hall for my drumset needs and accessories?
Fork’s Drum Closet is still the ultimate destination for all things relating to drumset. Snares, cymbals, hardware, and drum kits for days... Our items down here at the Percussion Hall are more geared for the concert or marching percussionist.
5. What makes the Percussion Hall special?
If you are a mallet percussionist… This is your place! We have a one-of-a-kind showroom with mallet instruments of all shapes and sizes. You can play these instruments and try them out just like the drum kits up at Fork’s Drum Closet. Getting a chance to test out and try mallets before purchasing is a big deal. The same goes for timpani, concert percussion, and marching drums! It is always best to experience the product before diving right into a purchase. In the age of the internet that is becoming more of a rarity.
We are here to help you! Alan and Ben have tons of experience in the marching and concert percussion world. If you have questions or just want to chat about gear and options… Drop by or give us a ring and we can help lead you and your students in the right direction!
6. Why is the Percussion Hall separate from the regular shop?
Our main goal is to provide school and community music programs with the gear they need. We deal directly with Band Directors and Percussion Instructors across the southeast and Country as a whole. We love having a space to spread out and make our own. We are connected directly to the Fork’s Warehouse which gives us plenty of options for storing bigger gear and shipping those larger items as well. To be completely honest, it is much easier to accomplish and carry out school deals without the drum shop snares cracking and cymbals smashing in the background. This new space gives our boys a chance to be more efficient and direct with our efforts!
