Available in Oak, Ash and Asian Para Wood and flawlessly crafted from solid wood staves, Collector’s Series Stave snares a have many of the same tonal characteristics of steam bent solid shell snare drums, with an even darker overall tone. Drums feature a slightly deeper snare bed and are lacquered inside to enhance high-end frequencies and sensitivity. Finished in Lacquer in with all standard Collector’s Series features such as DW Heads from Remo USA and TrueTone snare wires, Stave snares are a unique alternative to other solid shell drums.
